On this episode, Reagan Institute Policy Director Rachel Hoff sits down with Tong Yi, a Chinese human rights advocate, participant in 1989 student protests in Tiananmen Square, and survivor of a Chinese labor camp. More recently, she testified before the U.S. House of Representatives Select Committee on Strategic Competition between the United States and the Chinese Communist Party. Rachel Hoff and Tong Yi discussed her activism and courageous personal story as well as the human rights situation in China today and how the United States should address the CCP.
